Old fir floors

Before it had glue down carpet with the rubber backing. Man a lot of work to get it down and get all the old glue and carpet backing off. Then get the old for flooring sanded flat and get it all smooth enough today except finish with an oriole sealer and three coats of PALLMANN Strong matte.  It never ceases to amaze me the beauty of an old floor after you take everything off of it. And then there is also the surprise of the homeowner, he just can’t believe how gorgeous the floors look after they been sanded and finished. I must say I have to agree with them here. There were three bedrooms in the hallway in this project. And luckily the old fir flooring didn’t have any stain to them at all from water or pets or anything.
